A playlist of the YouTube videos I’m liking at the moment, a few random ones and some music.
Warning, some of the videos contain zombies/vampires/evil twins (Of The Shining variety, tried to add Jedward but it won’t let me embed lol) … and may not be safe for work.
Songs from the circa 96-99 period that i remember from days at The Ritz, Manchester.
Music and that what I like. It’s possible I may play these when I dj, mostly to people who would rather hear Rhianna, this is a relationship that suits me fine. A couple of these are from a party we played at this years SWN festival which was much fun, the room was full of people who didn’t want to listen to Rhianna or were TOO DRUNK TO CARE! Either way, good times.
Its not often that you come across a video that makes you go ‘holy **** – that is amazing’ …
Good to luck to all our students who were recently with us for a few sessions aimed at providing advice and feedback for a real world brief!
UWIC encourage the students of their BA in Graphic Communications to seek real world design studio experience and picked a select few design studios in Cardiff who they thought might be up to the challenge of mentoring some of their 3rd year students. We at Burning Red were proud to have been approached by UWIC and accepted gladly. We believe the sessions were very productive and hopefully the students went away with a better idea of how to tackle their brief professionally. We’d also like to commend UWIC for implicating this initiative as it prepares their students for what will hopefully be a bright future in the creative industries.
As a follow on from our sessions we were also invited to go along to see portfolios of many of the students studying at UWIC to offer critique and advice on developing their work further and most importantly, for a life in professional design world. We think UWIC are doing a grand job in this respect and feel both sessions were effective and productive and we were happy to have been part of it.

tenovus charity cookbook - recipes by ejcatering
Everyone involved in the collation of this recipe book have donated their time and efforts in aid of the Tenovus Cancer Charity. Burning Red offered to provide photography services to help bring the fantastic recipes to life. The recipes really do taste as good as they look (if we say so ourselves) and they were donated kindly by the very fantastic culinary genius Emma Jenkins of EJcatering.
Music by John Hardy Music
The book was produced and put together by Superwoman, a women’s netoworking group which raises money for charity at many events. The book will be going on sale through all Tenovus shops across South Wales and the West with ALL proceeds going to charity.
