Solution: We looked to reflect Anand’s unique ability to blend flavours and textures via a visual colour metaphor, especially in regards to playing on the colours that make up the special Purple colour. Coupled with a strong logotype and responsive web design to flow through the idea and sensation of quality, uniqueness and individuality.

The University’s aim was twofold: to create a premium, selective feel to these staff recruitment pages that introduce viewers to The University and the city as a place to work, play and live and secondly to allow a robust and methodical way in which to export submitted user data (which included forms & uploaded documents).

Solution: Website architecture / scoping, website design and build with user registration and bespoke multi-tiered administration database implemented to provide ease-of-use and solid reporting facilities.

Description: EJ Catering were looking for a high quality brochure design and print to display their services and provide a great quality ‘leave behind’ for when meeting new clients in addition to working as a standalone piece of marketing to reside in locations throughout Cardiff. The design also features their new logo / marque which we were looking forward to unveiling.

We helped assemble all the content, including copywriting (where applicable), proof reading, photography (some of which was our own, including the front cover) and sourced great quality uncoated stock for the finished design to be printed on.

Thank you to the whole team at Burning Red for our new brochure. Alex is inspirational, Lo is very patient and Gareth organised! We have had great feedback on it’s look, feel, quality and of course style. Personally I feel it reflects EJ Catering perfectly and already we have work off the back.

Towards the end of December 2011, Burning Red were asked to exhibit a Christmas themed exhibition at the gallery space in Urban Outfitters in Cardiff.

Featuring work by Nic Finch, Lo Price and Alex Mills, we curated collection of personal pieces, rarities and oddities that we felt celebrated and evoked  ideas surrounding Chistmas in it’s many guises.

As you may or may not know, our Nic (you must say with a Cilla accent!) has been attempting grow a moustache for Movember. He began the month clean shaven and admittedly he had a rickety start, but nearing the end of the month he did indeed have a discernible growth of some shape across his top lip.

Although growing a moustache doesn’t take a great deal of effort or endurance, Movember is about raising awareness of men’s health.

It’s Movember, the month formerly known as November, now dedicated to growing moustaches and raising awareness and funds for men’s health; specifically prostate and testicular cancer. Nic’s been donating my top lip to the cause for 30 days in an effort to help change the face of men’s health. His Mo sparked conversations, generated some laughs; all in the name of raising vital awareness and funds for cancer’s affecting men.

Final Applied Photography

CLIConline doesn’t stop there oh no! We have developed it so each local website has its own identity (in Cardiff its TheSprout, in Anglesey its Defaid … to name but a few), and its this local ownership that has helped drive the site(s) forward.

However, after all the technological, design and marketing involvement that we deal with, It was great to be there to celebrate the achievements of all the young people who have been using the service and also to appreciate how far the project has come during our time working on it. In case you are wondering what all the hats are about – well,  there was the best hat competition which the young gent to the left very deservedly won!

At 6pm the doors to the museum opened and we were greeted by local circus act No-Fit State, who were wonderful to watch. Inside the museum people were dressed in all sorts of odd hats (there was a prize for the best hat of the night, so I saw everything from a papier-mâché fox head to a giant banana suit!).

The evening was compered by two young people from the Anglesey site, Defaid, and entertainment from the night came in the form of comedian Robin Morgan and CLIC Battle of the Band winners Eric Unseen.
